Centurion Secures Major Contract on Hydro Energy Storage Project

Centurion has been awarded a significant camp hire contract with a leading design, engineering and construction solutions customer to support a major renewable energy installation in Australia.

Combining the strengths of Centurion Accommodation & Modular (AU) and Centurion Water & Wastewater Solutions (AU), the camp hire project will house workers on a ground-breaking hydroelectric storage system. The project is set to play a significant part in supporting Australia’s Net Zero goals and the transition of local electricity to renewable energy.

The package consists of an 84-room camp comprising of 28 accommodation modules and six additional multi-purpose modules to support site workers. The additional modules will contain a gym, office blocks, bathrooms, a laundry module, a large wet mess / recreation room (including a pool table), a large kitchen & dining module, generators and water tanks supporting the site workforce. Centurion Water & Wastewater Solutions will support this camp hire contract by providing a rental potable water disinfection module for the site.
