Oslo-listed seismic data specialist TGS has won two contracts, one for 4D streamer acquisition in the North Sea offshore Norway and one to expand multi-client data activities in Libya.
The company stated that a Ramform vessel was scheduled to mobilise for the survey in the second quarter of 2026, with the contract expected to run for approximately 65 days.
“We have successfully conducted several monitoring surveys in this area, demonstrating the capabilities of our Ramform-designed vessels and our proprietary GeoStreamer technology,” said Kristian Johansen, CEO of TGS.
The other deal was a letter of intent with North Africa Geophysical Company, a subsidiary of the Libyan National Oil Corporation.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing high-quality subsurface data and supporting Libya’s upstream development through fit-for-purpose data and technology solutions.
More details on the contract in Libya will be announced as the collaboration advances and definitive agreements are finalised.
