Energy Exchange Australia 2026 registration now open – Decarbonisation takes centre stage.
Energy Exchange Australia (EXA) has officially opened registration for the 2026 edition, being held from the 10th – 12th March 2026. Formerly held under the AOG banner, EXA continues the legacy of AOG while also evolving. As the nation’s premier meeting place for the people, technology, and solutions, EXA 2026 is powering Australia’s energy future with a focus on the energy transition with decarbonisation and diversification at its core.
Building on the momentum of its 2025 rebrand from AOG to Energy Exchange Australia, EXA is raising the bar yet again with its most diverse conference program yet. The program reflects a rapidly transforming industry, and attendees can expect insightful discussions spanning the role of gas as a transition fuel, advancements in CCS, decommissioning, hydrogen and onshore wind. A snapshot of the program includes;
- What’s really working with AI in resources (and what’s not)
- Social license defining the future of energy
- Renewables, regions and circular value chains
- Data centres in the energy transition: balancing demand and circular innovation
- CCS from concept to reality – building shared infrastructure and national strategy
- Managing hybrid energy systems in remote and high-demand industrial sites
The exhibition floor will be a living showcase of diversification in action – from established players to pioneering disruptors reshaping the energy ecosystem. Whether your interest lies in traditional verticals or new frontiers, EXA 2026 is your opportunity to connect directly with the people and companies driving this change.
EXA will also deliver unmissable networking experiences, including the Subsea Welcome Drinks sponsored by AOS Offshore, the Delmar Opening Party, and the Diversity & Inclusion Breakfast Briefing. New for 2026 will be the centrally located Blakemere Networking Lounge on the exhibition floor, which will contribute to even more opportunities to network with peers and the wider industry.
“EXA 2026 isn’t just another event – it’s a critical forum for collaboration, innovation, and driving progress in Australia’s energy journey,” says Event Director Brandon Ward. “We invite you to be part of this movement, connect with industry leaders, and help shape the future of the energy landscape.”
EXA is proudly supported by our major partner, the WA Government Department of Energy and Economic Diversification (DEED), along with major sponsors Woodside Energy, Chevron Australia, CODA, City of Perth, and Business Events Perth.
